Why there is no price on this website

Every project is quoted to scope. That is not evasion, it is the only honest way to price this: a three-page site for a trades business and a storefront with fitment data and stock levels are not the same job, and a price list would have to lie about one of them to fit the other.

What you get instead is a number in writing, for your project, before anything is built. It does not move afterward unless you ask for something that was not in it, and if that happens you hear the new number before the work starts, not on the invoice.

If a shop quotes you off a tier chart without asking what your business does, you are being sold a template. That may genuinely be what you need. It is worth knowing which one you are buying.

what you own

The domain, the content, and the way out

Your domain stays registered in your name, with your credit card, under your control. We connect it. We do not hold it, and we cannot hold it hostage, which is the single most common way small businesses get stuck with a provider they have outgrown.

There is no contract and no minimum term. If you want to leave, your content is exportable and we will help you move it. A studio that has to lock people in is telling you something about its retention.

questions

Asked often

How much does a website cost?

Every project is quoted to scope. A simple service site is very different from a store with fitment data, so the number comes after we understand what you need. You get it in writing, before anything is built.

How long does it take?

Most small business sites go live in days, not months, once we have your photos and your hours. The build is rarely the slow part. Waiting on content usually is.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. Your domain and email stay in your name and under your control. We connect them, we do not hold them.

What if I need a change later?

Ask in plain English and it gets made. Upkeep is part of the arrangement, not a change order with its own invoice.

Do you do SEO?

Groundwork, yes: structure, page titles, your Google Business Profile, and pages for the areas you actually serve. We do not sell rank guarantees, because nobody can honestly make one.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. Month to month, no contract, and we help you move your content out.

Do I have to write the copy?

No. Tell us what the business does and we write it. You read it and tell us where we got it wrong, which is a much easier job than starting from a blank page.

What if I already have a website?

Then the question is whether it needs a redesign or a rebuild. That is covered on the redesign page, including the cases where the honest answer is to leave it alone.

Who actually builds it?

Cam does. Design, copy, build and the ongoing changes. There is no handoff to a different team after you sign. More on the about page.

Do you work outside Winnipeg?

Yes. Most clients are in Manitoba, but we work across Canada. See canada-wide for how a remote build differs, which is less than you would think.
