Everything out here
has to reach.

N3 Sales is an auto shop in Rathwell, Manitoba, population under two hundred. They sell Compustar remote starts and Icom two-way radios, and they fix vehicles. The old site had that in the wrong order.

The situation

N3 was on Squarespace with an online store attached. The store was the problem. It presented the business as a place that sells boxes, when the business is a place that installs things properly and then stands behind the install. A remote start is not a product purchase, it is an appointment. Nobody in rural Manitoba is adding a Compustar kit to a cart and self-installing it in a farmyard in February.

So the site was answering a question nobody asked, and burying the two that everyone asks: can you do this for my vehicle, and when can I come in.

What we did

We dropped the cart entirely and replaced it with a quote and booking flow. That is a real business decision, not a design preference, and it is the kind of thing we would rather argue about early than build around quietly.

Then we repositioned the whole site repair-first. Three things, done properly: remote start, radios, and everyday vehicle service for farms and rural drivers. The service work is the steady revenue, and it had been treated as an afterthought behind the product catalogue.

The copy got rewritten for the actual customer. Not 'premium automotive solutions'. Warm truck, minus thirty, no argument. Keep the whole section talking. These are sentences a farmer recognises as being about their life, which is the entire job of copy on a page like this.

The site was rebuilt on our platform and moved off Squarespace, with the contact form landing in an inbox the shop actually checks rather than an email that gets lost.

What changed

The address is on the page as a fact, not a footer detail. Rural businesses get found by people who need to know whether the drive is worth it.

Pages load small and fast, which matters here in a way it does not in a city. A lot of this audience is opening the site on a phone with two bars in a truck.

And the shop stopped paying a subscription to run a store it did not want, on a platform where changing the pitch meant rebuilding the site.
